News can come in many forms. Smartphones, computers, and 24 hour cable network news allows instant access to information at any time. None of that offers us what the local news can offer us. We still tune in everyday to learn about the things that affect us most. We asked the local community to choose the “Best TV Reporter in the Poconos” for 2013.
The Pocono Community voted Laurie Monteforte the Best TV Reporter in the Poconos
 Laurie Monteforte is the Pocono Bureau Reporter for television station WBRE. She grew up in the Pocono region and attended East Stroudsburg University. She has prior experience as a reporter and anchor for radio stations and as a videographer for a cable TV channel. She has also worked in marketing and public relations. During her spare time she volunteers working with children with special needs. Tune in to WBRE television and check out the Poconos “Best TV Reporter” for 2013.
